Still working on the website but quite
excited about being included on a new website that launches on Sept 3rd -
Fashion Central. I'll post the actual web address when I'm positive what it
is!!! For now here is a little sneak peak at what I currently have to offer
although lots more coming very soon.

It's been a while since I posted
and a lot has happened in that time. On March 10th my nanna passed away and
I have to admit that since then nothing has quite been the same. Somehow the
world hasn't felt quite right. We were really close and I miss her every
day. It could never have come at a good time but having just started up in
business made it really really hard.

I won't lie. It has been a
struggle and everyone expects you to fail. I got in to a real rut and sewing
anything at all was a struggle but last weekend i did a stall at Camden
market and the whole experience whilst not financially very profitable has
really given me the boot up the ass that I needed. I'm hopeful that the
Cherry Pie Punk website is now just weeks away!!!!

My next blog which is coming very
soon (although I'm really not sure anyone reads this) will be exploits from
Camden along with pictures.

I haven't finished any of my sewing
projects, I have housework coming out of my ears and the only text message
I have had so far today was from the TV license people to tell me my
payment was late!!!! And do not even get me started on the uselessness of
government agencies to do anything in the promised time frame. Grrrr.

I am hoping tomorrow will be productive
and lovely and will end in me drinking scrummy jd and cokes with my
scrummy boyf, yay!!! I haven't given up hope for tonight yet. I may
suddenly master photoshop and burst into a sewing frenzy that produces a
whole bevvy of glorious items for me to sell. Of course the likelihood of
that is probably about the same as waking up to the news that scientists
have just come up with calorie free chocolate!!!!!

If you have any motivational speeches,
ideas for photoshop or the recipe for calorie free choc then please get in
touch. The taco's I just ate have made me sleepy. Afternoon napping is bad
and yet it feels so goooooood, zzzzzzzzz

I can't decide which is the
best way to sell things, auction or buy it now. Sigh, this whole working
for yourself malarchy is hazardous and full of decisions that can mean the
difference between beans on toast or real food, lol!!!!

Once you are an established
goddess of ebay like shrinkle or turtlemaggie you can afford to start all
your auctions at 99 cents safe in the knowledge that you are gonna get
lots of lovely bids but if you are trying to establish yourself it isn't
quite so cut and dry. 

Well it's been almost a week
since Cherry Pie Punk moved from hobby to money earner. I've gotta say
things have gone pretty well  considering my sewers block. I just
haven't been able to get back in to making clothes since Christmas. This
could pose a definate problem but I'm hoping I have it sorted. I have
started a couple of new sewing projects today and will be working into the
night to finish them off. Ebay is looking very sparse indeed.  I need
to get listing pronto.

I've also been neglecting Etsy
terribly. Aaargh, there is sooooo much to do. Setting up a website and
everything that comes with it is very complicated when you are a computer
ejit such as myself. I have enlisted the help of my lovely boyfriend
Chris. I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a complete dillard!!! He may be
right. World domination is going to be harder than I thought!!!!

Still I'm getting better at this
live journal malarchy. I have pretty colours, ooh and aaah. I will be (or
should I say Chris will be) including a link to this journal from my
website when it is eventually up and running so that people can, if they
wish, see what I've been up to. I really should get some pictures on here
too. In fact no time like the present.

creation. An awesome Sid and Nancy bracelet that I was very pleased with
indeed. x
